The campground works on “First-come, first-served” principle, which can become problematic in summer, when the place is crowded.
Each site is suitable for tents or RVs (but no longer than 21 feet).

- bear lockers.
Only leashed pets are allowed here. The campground is also handicap accessible.

Among the water activities are the following:
- fishing,
- kayaking and canoeing,

There are two boardwalk trails (Cape Alava – 3.1 miles, Sandpoint – 2.8 miles), leading through a magnificent coastal forest to some beaches.
Ozette Loop is a 3.1 miles hike, connecting Cape Alava and Sandpoint trails and running through the beach. Together they form the Ozette Triangle Loop.
But you should be careful during the wet or frosty weather as the boardwalks become very slippery.
