Description:

Fremont Canal Park is a beautiful, quiet park, which is located in the Fremont Neighborhood. This narrow park is situated along Lake Union and Lake Washington Ship Canal.

It should be mentioned that this is not the best place for children to play, but this is perfect for meditation and nice quiet walks. Fremont Canal Park is adjacent to the Burke Gilman Trail, that’s why the park has great opportunities for the pedestrians to walk, sit and relax. There are many benches situated along the pedestrian trail; visitors enjoy sitting here and admiring the views.

Fremont Canal Park also features an ADA accessible rank, a shelter near the water and a viewing platform.

If you come to the park with kids, don’t forget to bring bread to feed ducks.

Every June this park accepts more than 100,000 visitors, because June is the month for annual Fremont Fair and Solstice Parade.

This park also provides space for different community gatherings.

It should be said that the employees of Google, Adobe and Tableau companies love to have their lunch here at the park. It is possible for them to have lunch here, because their offices are situated nearby.
