Kiwanis Park is a nine-acre neighborhood park, which is located in the Highlands area. It is perfect for family recreation. There is a nice picnic area and great playground for kids of different ages.

In 2004, the western part of Kiwanis Park was reconstructed; a very convenient asphalt walking trail was added as well as basketball court and other general improvement and landscaping.

Usually Seattle area doesn’t get much snow, but this time on Sunday, February 9, 2014 it snowed. And here on the pictures below you will see this park covered with white fresh snow. Of course, this unusual even brought people outside. Children were playing snowballs, went tobogganing and just enjoyed the snowy day. On this day visitors enjoyed not only the comfortable park, but also beautiful scenery.
