Description:

Photo from King County, City of Bellevue, Bellevue Downtown ParkBellevue Downtown Park is considered to be a green oasis in the center of a busy city. The park is very beautiful and elegant. Here visitors will find a broad one-half mile promenade that runs along a stepped canal. This canal ends with a gorgeous 240-foot wide waterfall, actually water wall, that cascades into a reflecting pool.

This place is very popular among the residents and Bellevue guests. Here you can enjoy the real beauty, you may have a picnic, you may go walking along this beautiful canal or just come here to play with kids.

It should be also mentioned that views here are also perfect: green lawns, gorgeous waterfall, Bellevue’s skyline and Mount Rainier.

There is a very quiet place in the park that is called Marie’s Garden. There are lots paths and benches that are situated near blooming azaleas, irises, rhododendrons, roses, etc. This is a perfect place for those who need a gulp of quiet air.
