Sun Lakes-Dry Falls State Park is a fabulous and beautiful 4,027 acre park that invites visitors with its 73,640 feet of freshwater shoreline. This park is also famous for unusual geological wonder Dry Falls that was carved by Ice Age floods. It’s not a waterfall as we can imagine, but a stark cliff 400 feet in height and 3.5 miles in width. If we try to imagine this waterfall in its full strength, we need to imagine a waterfall that is four times bigger in size than Niagara Falls. Even today, it looks mighty and beautiful with all the lakes and abundant flora and fauna.
